Ashley Duster

This commissioned piece features a fold-in shawl collar, blue and green contrast binding, and large, circular pockets. Possibly one of the coziest coats I’ve made, this one lives somewhere in between a robe and a jacket. I used the original scalloped edges from the quilt to add some playfulness to the collar and along the hem. Details like these are always inspired by the quilt itself and so fun to customize.
