This vintage quilt is still one of my favorites with its incredibly rich color palette and stunning star pattern. This coat has several patchwork components including the angled terra cotta patches on the sleeves and pieced together pockets.

One of the elements I love to personalize are the pockets. These are incredibly oversized, but the owner is a knitter, and I imagine her stuffing projects in her pockets (like me) to knit on the go. Both pockets allow for side entry, but the right pocket also includes a flap-guarded pouch.
